The property was easy to walk to, being so close to Town Hall station. Check-in was seamless and very quick. I was appointed room 508 a functional 2 single bed room. I noticed that the security lock on the front door didn't work and reported that to reception who informed me that they couldn't get it fixed until Sunday morning, which would be after I checked out. I noticed there was sand on the floor tiles behind the front door, possibly indicating that the room had not been vacuumed in that area. The rest of the room was spotless. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was a step in which was excellent. There were no shower caps supplied and only one small piece of hand soap, so would advise that you bring your own. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in the room but the hotel no longer supplies breakfast. Overall a very basic stay which is reflected in the price but the location makes up for any concerns I had about the hotel.

The room was quite small. The king size bed was great but there was no room for a bedside table or reading lamp. Great location, great staff, very clean .
